Ever get that mixed feeling when you enter and leave the bookstore?
Happy and excited, once again, for being surrounded by heaps and heaps of books, then walk out feeling disappointed and empty handed for not having enough cash to buy the book[s] you badly want. Sucks. It just totally sucks.
12/10/11 - My parents got me an early Christmas gift today! It’s a Sony W570 Digicam. I’m so happy! I’m going to seize every moment with my new camera! Yay!!! I’ve always wanted to have one since then, yes, we have DSLRs but I don’t want to bring those huge cameras when I’m attending parties or any events because it gets too much attention. I want something small like my new baby. I also traded my E66 Nokia phone (oh, goodbye wi-fi.) for a low end Nokia 1280. I don’t really like colored phones, I still prefer the black and white screen, like the old days. :) So yeah, that was me and my cousin in the car, I’m using my digicam there (no post-processed). (*v*)
Ah, I just love this kind of sombre rainy weather. Cold. Peaceful. Makes me want to stay in bed all day and sip hot coffee while listening to Boyz II Men soothing voices or any 90’s boy band tracks. Love.
12/01/11 - I didn’t feel like going to school yesterday because I was incredibly lazy and it was pouring and sombre outside— the kind of weather that makes you want to just stay in bed all day, which I did anyways. It was just so hard for me not to be a lazy bum when my class schedule are always in the late afternoon, but I like my schedule though, it’s much better than the morning class. So yesterday, I finished reading the Vampire Diaries: The Hunters, Phantom book and I loved it. It’s a page turner and I couldn’t let it down. I really love the book and the TV series of TVD! And I’m so so excited for the next episode of season 3 next year on Jan 5. Yay! Delena/Stelena ♥ I also watched the One day film that was based from the novel of David Nicholls, (I’ve read 20+ page of the book but I couldn’t just get into it, so I decided to abandoned it.) the ending was a bit disappointing, but nonetheless, I still recommend you to watch it. Then later that night, my parents, sis and I went to Cinema to watch another cute movie of Gerald Anderson and Sarah Geronimo, Won’t last a day without you, their movies never fail to make me smile. Kiligerz to the bones! :)
Now reading: One true theory of Love - Laura Fitzgerald
I wore a black ribbon today for the 2nd anniversary of the infamous Maguindanao massacre and by wearing the black ribbon shows that I support the pursuit justice that we, Filipinos, pray and hope for and also, to show that my heart goes out to all of the victim’s families. I believe, Justice will prevail one way or another, soon.
Oh, the twins hope that you had a good day today! :]
What is happiness?
For me, happiness is not about material things and not about having a perfect body because happiness is being contented with what you have. Being able to accept things just the way they are and being able not to search for anything more than with what you already have. I believe, happiness is being grateful for the life’s abundance God has given you. Also, happiness is when you have something you believe in, something that makes your life worth living for despite the problems you have been encountering in your life. All these dramas, sufferings, pain, tears, are what makes you alive, it is what makes life, life. So, smile. Cheer up! Be thankful for everything you have right now.
Acceptance, Appreciation and Contentment are the keys to Happiness.
11/05/11 - Just got home an hour ago from Waltermart with my parents. We saw Vice Ganda’s Praybeyt Benjamin and ‘twas good. I had a good laugh because of Vandolph Quizon. Anyways, we SK’s (Sangguniang kabataan) had an interview today with the DLSU polsci graduating students. They asked us about our youth council and stuff and asked our opinions about the issue of abolishing the SK. So all in all, I had a good day today and I hope yours was too. ( ´∀｀)( ´ ∀`)
My parents bought me a watch yesterday as an early Christmas gift and I also availed a Bench lifestyle card, although I know, I’m not going buy anything in Bench stores. (ﾟ⊿ﾟ) Anyways, this is already my, our (w/ my bro), second week of Basic English Proficiency Training in ITMC. It was a free scholarship, actually, and so far, I’m enjoying it. We’re only 9 in the class, so I guess we’re really going to learn a lot about the right usage of prepositions, conjunctions and etc. and yes, I still need to practice more though, because I suck big time at speaking English. (╬ ≧ロ≦)
Who would have thought that I’ve already been there in those beautiful places at such a young age? But srsly, I don’t know if I should feel great about it because I cannot recall being in Europe— Germany, Switzerland, France, Italy, Austria. I just can’t remember it. I was only seven years old that time, so technically, for me, it’s like I’ve never been there at all. So, I’m still dreaming of being there, again. I know, I will, someday. Someday.
My psoriasis on my face is now healing though its white trace are still quite visible, but nonetheless, I am so happy that it’s finally disappearing. Yay! (´∇`)
